The Greenwood Resort, Guwahati

Excellent resort suitable as an event venue or as a start for a trip exploring Assam. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. We particularly appreciated that the staff involved us in the various festivals going on in the resort, including the harvest festival, for which there was a special menu in the restaurant. The resort is located just at the edge Guwahati, somewhat uphill, meaning that the air quality is much better than in the city, especially in the evenings.

The service, care and attention from the staff is exceptional. The restaurant and the choice at breakfast is excellent. Guwahati is a busy, noisy and dusty town. The Greenwood resort is an oasis of calm and beautiful gardens which I found very relaxing.

The greens surrounding almost all area, the very homely ambience and the Cafe Bagan in particular was a beautiful space ♥️

Lovely large cottage style room with balcony overlooking green area. Clean, great pool with food and music.
